SIMD in .NET: Image processing with intrinsics

Intrinsic is a method that compiles into a specific processor instruction. SIMD intrinsics appeared in .NET Core 3, but despite their high performance, they are rarely used in production due to their seeming complexity.

In this talk Stepan will discuss .NET intrinsics in the context of image processing. Stepan will analyze real algorithms, discuss how to solve performance issues and what we have to do for the best optimization.
