Architecting a large social network without breaking the bank

We are called to build large-scale systems, but the usual tools we have to do so can have tremendous costs at scale. In this talk, Oren Eini will discuss how you can build a highly scalable system that can handle hundreds of millions of users without breaking the bank. It turns out that proper architecture can ensure that you have the space to grow without excessive spending and that you can rest at night knowing that your systems are robust and can withstand whatever you'll throw at them.

We are going to cover both high-level details of the architecture as well as the system level constraints that can make an impossible task into a trivial matter. Then we are going to dive into some low-level implementation details that can make your responsive and fast even at a tremendous load.
