Observability of systems and processes

For complex distributed systems supported by many teams, you need to be able to quickly assess the state of the system and get information about every aspect of its operation. The observability of the system becomes a necessary condition for quality, but its full-fledged implementation contains many pitfalls.

In his talk, Philipp will reveal the concept of observability and show how to get the most out of it. We will discuss in detail distributed tracing, logging and metrics collection. We will focus on approaches and open standards, but also Philipp will tell about tools and experience used by the team at MTS.
